A Day in the Life of an HVAC Pro
6:30 AM – Rise and Shine
The alarm goes off, and I hop out of bed, ready to tackle another day. As an HVAC technician at Gustafson Heating & Air Conditioning, my job is to keep homes and businesses comfortable all year round.
7:30 AM – Daily Briefing
I arrive at the office and attend our daily team huddle. We review the day’s schedule and any special instructions for each job. Today, I’m assigned to:

Next up is an air conditioner service in Littleton. I clean the coils, check the refrigerant levels, and ensure the system is running efficiently. Preventative maintenance is key to prolonging the life of an AC unit.
2:00 PM – Third Stop: HVAC Installation
In the afternoon, I head to Highlands Ranch for a new HVAC installation. The homeowners are building an addition and need a system that can handle the increased square footage. I work diligently to ensure the new unit is properly sized and installed to code.
